AGENTS.MDReact 19 & Vite AGENTS.md Protocol
Generate an AGENTS.md multi-agent specification for React 19 & Vite with autonomous verification gates. Autonomous coding agents operating on React 19 & Vite codebases require unambiguous operating protocols. This AGENTS.md specification defines role boundaries, required verification commands, and non-negotiable architectural guardrails for multi-agent workflows.

React 19 & Vite: code to avoid and code to write instead
// Discouraged: Anti-pattern useEffect duplicating state
export function BadItems({ items, query }: any) {
const [filtered, setFiltered] = useState([]);
useEffect(() => {
setFiltered(items.filter((i: any) => i.name.includes(query)));
}, [items, query]);
return <ul>{filtered.map((i: any) => <li key={i.id}>{i.name}</li>)}</ul>;
}// Good: Derived state computed synchronously during render
export function FilteredItems({ items, query }: { items: Item[]; query: string }) {
const filtered = useMemo(
() => items.filter((i) => i.name.toLowerCase().includes(query.toLowerCase())),
[items, query]
);
return <ul>{filtered.map(i => <li key={i.id}>{i.name}</li>)}</ul>;
}How to Install React 19 & Vite AGENTS.md Multi-Agent Rules via Terminal
Step 1: Open Project Directory & Verify Target Placement
Open your terminal and navigate to your project root folder where the AGENTS.md file will reside. Ensure the file is placed at the exact path below relative to your project root so the AI engine automatically loads it:
Step 2: Fetch Rule File via Terminal Command
Run curl, PowerShell, or wget to stream the rule directly from the DevScratchpad raw API endpoint and write it to AGENTS.md:
Terminal One-Liner Install
Run directly in your project root to stream and write this rule file with one command.
curl -fsSL "https://www.devscratchpad.tech/api/raw/agents-md/react-19" -o "AGENTS.md"Step 3: Check that Codex, Cursor, Copilot coding agent uses it
Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot's coding agent and other agents read AGENTS.md when they start a task. For Claude Code, add @AGENTS.md to CLAUDE.md.
AGENTS.md generator: one instructions file for every coding agent
AGENTS.md Multi-Agent Rules: how it works, where the file goes, and every AGENTS.md preset.
Tools for React 19 & Vite work
Browser-based utilities to test, format and inspect the code your AI tool writes. Nothing you paste is uploaded.
JSON to TypeScript Interfaces
Instantly infer TypeScript interfaces from a JSON payload.
JSON to Zod Schema
Infer Zod validation schemas directly from JSON payloads.
SVG to JSX Converter
Convert raw SVG markup into a React JSX component.
JWT Decoder & Inspector
Decode JSON Web Tokens locally. Inspect header and claims, and verify HS256 signatures with your secret.
Live Repository & Schema Ingestion
Inspect any public or private GitHub repository, or paste SQL DDL and Prisma models directly in AI Skill Studio to auto-generate authentic rules. Zero server transmission.
Migrating from Legacy .cursorrules or CLAUDE.md?
Use the free, in-browser converter to turn one long rules file into Cursor .mdc, Claude SKILL.md or Windsurf rules.
Technical FAQ: React 19 & Vite AI Rulebooks
What agents read AGENTS.md?
OpenAI Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot's coding agent, Google Jules and many other agents read AGENTS.md from the repository root. Claude Code reads CLAUDE.md, which can import it with @AGENTS.md.
How are verification gates enforced?
AGENTS.md lists the commands that must pass, for example build and lint exiting 0. Agents that read it run them before they finish, but nothing enforces them outside your CI, so run the same checks there.
